Not always. If you have regular periods in regular intervals then I would say that the chances are 90% give or take that you can not get pregnant within 14 days after a period. On the other hand, your fertility is much more set after ovulation, which will lead to your period exact 14 days later (99% of the time). With fertility you must take in what sperm capabilities are. Sperm can survive of upwards of 72 hours. This means all your fertility timing you must count these 3 days into it.

Long story short, where a condom or use medicinal birthcontrol. They are the only thing that is 99%+ effective.

Yes. Very true indeed. I got pregnant just 7 - 10 DAYS AFTER MY PERIOD FINISHED.

You can't dispute the facts people. 7 - 10 after menstruation (average time for menstruation is 3 - 4 days!) That's approximately 14 days from the onset of menstruation. That's half way through a 28 day cycle. OK people, the lady asked about if you are fertile 7 DAYS AFTER your period finishes!! The part about "after" makes a huge difference! Pay attention when you all read!

The answer is YES. And I have a child to prove it.

If you really want specifics as to when you are most fertile, get a fertility kit or contact your gyno. Don't play Russian roulette having sex without protection. You can get pregnant 7 days after your period finishes. Our eggs are viable for 24 hours where as sperm are viable for several days. Don't let the thumbs down mislead you. Not everyone is the most educated when it comes to simple things like uh....pregnancy! Hello!

No, you are unliely to be fertile right after your period, but that doesn't mean you are not. Everyone is different, but you have a span of about seven days when you can get pregnant if you have sex, when those seven days are is different for everyone because every girls cycle is different, that's why it's important to always use protection.
