In my opinion nothing can beat high-waisted stone washed, straight legged jeans of the 80's (for women) and short two-toned nylon dolphin shorts (such as those worn by Richard Simmons in his videos), for men, (especially when paired with orange tanning bed legs and a frizzy perm).

I LUV your choice on that!! I`m with you! I remember the latter 60`s(kid),70`s, 80`s, 90`s, millenium and I have to honestly say the 80`s WERE THE WORST styles I have ever seen.(i shudder,even @the thought)..dolphin shortz, acid wash,banana clips, knotted baggy tshirtz, leg warmerz, frye bootz, permz, RICHARD SIMMONS(he-he), orange tanz(thank u), (..hash oil..)?

I think the worst fashion statement for men and women is:
Those Jeans that look DIRTY. They have dirt marks all over them like they never been washed.
Now granted that is fine for a bum who is homeless who can not afford to wash his clothes but come on now even the Rich were wearing them.
Wouldn't you just feel dirty all the time?
They are dusgusting to me.

Platform shoes! And they have the nerve to bring them back in style. I thought they look bad in the 70's and look worse today. Plus you can hurt your leg, ankle, and feet in them.
