that is okay. Sometimes it can be up to the 22nd week before you feel your baby move

Most women don't feel their baby move until around 20 weeks or so. I know 3 weeks doesn't seem like much longer, but it is, really. I personally did not feel my first daughter move until the same day as my ultrasound which was at 22 weeks. My second daughter, I felt sooner because I recognized the feeling and knew what it was. I wouldn't worry. If you are still not feeling any movement around 20-24 weeks, then you should talk to your doctor.

But... don't worry. Stress is no good for that precious bundle of yours. :-)

My daughter felt like butterflies and my son like gas bubbles. I agree with the poster that said you may not feel anything until 22 weeks. I also understand the panic feeling that you have. I had it through both of my pregnancies. This is very normal.

W/ my first baby, I didn't feel movement that I was sure of until well after 20 weeks. I felt movement much sooner w/ my second baby though. It's VERY normal not to feel movement at 17 weeks. When you do feel movement, beleive me you won't have to ask! LOL.

Everyone is different. I never felt anything until I was about 20 weeks or so. Don't worry. You should ask your doctor just in case. She may feel other tests are necessary if there are any complications in your pregnancy already.

you probably have felt it but just don't know what to look for give it a couple more weeks and you will start to realize the feeling and notice it. It feels like a floating feeling like when your on a roller coaster or in a car and you go over a hill kind of fast and your stomach feels like its floating or fluttering its something similar to that.

I would suggest that you take this up with your obstetrician. If this is your first pregnancy you may have movement and just don't notice it from gas, or the baby is very small whatever the reason a doctor is best equipt with an answer. I did not notice my child movements until I was actually able to see him move in my stomach.
