The township that i want to move it to requires a 4/12 pitched roof. I have a 3/12 roof. Is it a major, expensive project to make the roof a little bit steeper?

No. I have been blessed enough to always have a home that is attached firmly to the ground.

Changing roof pitch sounds like a major hassle with any kind of home and particularly with a mobile one. It isn't obvious that you could attach the new longer supports to a prebuilt unit.

Maybe you could trade it in for one with the permitted roof pitch.

Most people I have seen build a new roof on top of the old roof. Is 4/12 the minimum, or it has to be exactly 4/12? It should not be to difficult to build a 4/12 frame on top of the 3/12 roof, it will also keep it cooler in the summer. also you can put an overhang on it.

It would be somewhat of a major project. But you might be abpe to do it cheap yourself. I could contact the nearest butler or other metal building guy and ask if you can buy some metal sheets he cannot use. Also ask his advice on how to construct the roof. It's pretty easy really. or perhaps if he is slow he will do the project for a minimal price to keep his guys working. Winter time is good.
