People crave perfection because people really want the best out of them which makes them feel good so they can think about what they can accomplish.
We care about other think about your appearances because we don't want to be making fun.
People judge our appearence because they want to see if they can fit in a type of group and mostly they want to see if they are "cool" or "unpopular".

1. We want to feel good about ourselves and think that you accomplished something the best way possible.
2. Almost the same as above. You want to impress others and feel good about ourselves.
3. An appearance is easier to figure out. You just have to look at a person. But if you do not judge by appearance, you really have to get the know person which takes more time.

Society today is based on appearance it has become standard for a woman to go to great lenghts to have the perfect hair and body because that is what is portrayed as what is right. A woman who is overweight an unkept will be looked down upon even if she is smarter and brighter then a woman who is beautiful.

-we want to make sure we live a satisfying life
for example if it was your room you were fixing up, you would want to make sure it was comfortable and to suit your liking
-society thinks less of people who are deemed "ugly" and peer pressure is another factor
-wanting to see a person who is pleasant/tolerant to the eye...God made us to have flaws and one of em is tending to have some superficialness in us
i.e. if something tastes nasty you wouldnt want to eat it...its the same thing w/people. if a person doesnt look good some people wouldnt want to see them

because we cant accept ourselves and seek for acceptance in the other person in order to achieve that balance we are lacking in our minds and hearts....
