You could use either one.
I bet you have beautiful eyes, and pale pinks, dark smoky purples, and deep burgandys will spring your lovely eyes into action!
A deep purple eyeliner for the nighttime will look really sexy.
Try this:
A light, highlighting pale shade (Here we're going for shine, not color) all over your lids, just as a base. Then, either a dark plum or one of those beautiful burgandy's directly in your crease and a little above it will look extremely sexy, but not too much for daytime wear. Hope this helps!

you'll need these:
- a good face makeup that matches your skin tone, obviously (to cover up any flaws), whether it's liquid or powder form
- bronzer (bring out your brunette tresses and make your eyes glow)-- brush lightly on your cheeks and a little bit all over your face
- neutral pink lipgloss (goes well with anyone and makes your lips fuller)
- mascara (this stuff is a god-send!)
- brown eyeliner (suits hazel eyes)
- autumnal eyeshadows (ie fall colors: bronze, maple, earthy green, copper, gold, etc) these colors should really bring out the color in your hair and eyes.

good luck bringing out your best features!

Wear mascara. And eyeshadow.. try a darker brownish tone than you skin.. or a green. I like pink.. a sullen kind of pink. But it also depends what you're wearing. Wear blush. Try some sparkles on your chest if you wear a lower top. Wear a lightish pale bronzer if you want your skin to look lighter or darker.

Greens will bring out the hazel in your eyes, but they are often times hard to work with. Blues are also good too, but you have to be careful not to look like you stepped out of the early 80's. I would stick with neutrals. Try bronzer for blush and taupes/tans for your eyes.

I would go with an olive green, or a brownish red/ rusty color. They would look best on your skin tones, and really bring out the green and the hazel in your eyes.
