When I am at low ebb, people get to see the quieter side of me... the me that needs to recharge, read a book, relax in the bath, the one that needs to sit by the lake and just breathe. If I wait too long to do this, they also get to see a woman who is abrupt, not very careful with her words, and one who dissolves easily into tears. I'm not proud of that, and try to avoid it, but it does happen...
