Canon Pixma MP160 printer problem encountered just now. I couldn't print any documents from Microsoft word and wordpad.
I have try to re-install the driver but it still the problem. The light flash on my printer is on. But, when it comes to printing, error like this appear on my PCs "Service error 5010. Cancel printing and turn the printer off and then on again. If this doesn't clear the error, see the printer manual for more detail".
What should i do?
Anybody encountered same problem. Pls help.

Go to start then control panel then hardware/printers and find your Canon printer and right click it and delete it. After that restart your computer and then attach the printer with the USB cord and the computer will recognize new hardware and will automatically download drivers needed for it and you will be as good as new with the printer. Good luck.

I had a Canon printer for a while and I experienced enough problems with it to just deck it. Invest in a new printer (I recommend Epson). However, if you can't right now, go to Canon's website, find your printer, and download the newest driver for it.
