How do you prevent wasps from building a nest under the eve of a roof or entry way?

I removed a new nest (and the wasps) 2 days ago. A new set of wasps are building a new nest right now. I hate wasps and I don't want them to come back.

All hornets, wasps, and yellowjackets are beneficial. I would definately contact a professional.

It is pretty difficult to prevent, but once they are there, after sun down you can remove the nest. This is when they are at rest and quiet.

I used wasp killer.Its a spray and lingers onto what ever you spray it on...It worked for me. They eat bugs which I like but not close to my door please.
