After the death of C.S. Lewis, my 2nd favorite author, who is or are continuing his legacy as a writer? Is he or they a part of the LEWIS family or not?

I don't think anyone is writing now quite like C.S. Lewis did. His books are constantly being recollected and republished, but nothing new is being created. I think the reason is that Lewis was a Christian and progressive educator. That combination is very rare today as most Christian educators tend to indoctrinate children instead of providing an open-minded environment.

Jesuit universities are an exception to this. The Jesuits valued education as much as their missionary work. I graduated from Creighton University, and I consider it one of the most sustained, enlightening times of my life. C.S. Lewis would be proud of the Jesuits today.

I'm not sure who is continuing his legacy, but like you, I also enjoy many of his books. All my smaller cousins can't get enough of The Narnia Collection!
