wahts a "save you" illusion? do you mean the ploy in selling these things to us all is to try make us think its going to save us?

I think the government- or whoevers idea it is, is fighting a loosing battel with this as people generally dont like to b told what to do. They do like to rebell.
Evne if you told them money was attatched to it, people in the majority would rebell. Its a human instinct to be individual, to rebell and to unite in out rebellion.

save you will wqash and will never work. The only way ID cards are gonna get through is the same way red lights, by brute force.

1) The war on poverty.
2) Government operated public schools.
3) Government health care.

You have a good point about traffic lights. I always liked roundabouts better because they never burn out, you'll never sit there waiting if no ones coming and you will not have a head on collision.

I think the ID card has a different purpose than "save you." I think it is supposed to mark you. And I do not think we should let it happen.

As to the traffic light, please don't become one of those people who stops at green lights. And the cell phone probably will save you. Police can track you on those things.

DNA is only taken from felony convicts or suspects, with a warrant and judge order (depending on the state).

1 and 3 maybe but I don't know anyone who is stupid enough to cross a road without checking it's safe just because the light is red.
