Considering that Florida beat them earlier this season by 26 points, I still don't think Ohio State can match up with them. Yes, Oden is the dominant inside presence and may very well shut down Noah. But what people seem to forget is that Florida has some of the toughest guards in the nation. You look at both Corey Brewer and Taurean Green, they're both extremely athletic and with Lee Humphrey's 3 ball....they're definitely the team to beat. Plus, losing those couple of games in the stretch of the SEC conference play seemed to get losing out of their system.....they beat teams in the SEC tournament by an average of close to 20 points.

And Florida spreads the love, the lowest ppg average among the starters is Humphrey with 9.9 points, the other four average around 12-13 points a game (Horford 13.2, Green 13.1, Brewer 12.7, Noah 12.1). They also have the experience that Ohio State lacks and it's safe to say that this Florida looks just as talented as the Duke teams from 1991-1992 that went back to back.

Well, if that happens, it would have to be for the National Championship. If the game happens, I still believe Florida will come out on top. The Gators have the big men like Horford who can make Oden's life miserable in the paint. The X-factor will be the Florida guards, who easily outclass the young Buckeye guards.

No because Ohio St. will not make it to the tournament play Florida. Even if they did make it to the final 4, they wouldn't stand a chance.

If Ohio State makes the final 4, (which btw I don't think they will), Florida will beat them again.

It's hard to believe that either basketball team would be thinking about what happened in the national football championship game. These teams are dealing with their own identity. I don't think "revenge" is part of the equation.

i dont think OSU will make it to the finals or final 4. they are led by freshmen, their 2 best players, conley and oden are both just freshmen, so i think their inexperience will show in the tourny.
and even if they do meet florida, i think florida will win big, because of their experience, they returned their starting 5.

Let me put this simply for you....NO!

Florida has the experience.
Florida has the firepower.
Florida has the defense.
Florida has the rings.

Ohio State (If they make it that far) WILL NOT beat Florida!

THEY WON'T!

If both teams make it, then yes, I think Greg Oden will pull it out and rip Joakim Noah and the rest of those gators a new one.
