How about

"Tene ardui eventi." (pronounced "Teh-NAY AR-doo-ee ay-WHEN-tee")

Literally: "Hold (in memory) the difficult events" (as in never let them leave your mind)

or "Commemini ardui eventi" - "Fully remember the difficult events." (more along the lines of 'be ready to FULLY recall tough times when necessary')

Pronounced "Coe-MAY-mee-nee AR-doo-ee ay-WHEN-tee")

You can always throw "Semper" before these which means "always" (sem-PAIR)
