Actually they still have Dick Lebeau as the defensive coordinator so they will stay with the 3-4 defense which is 3 down linemen and 4 linebackers. Cutting Joey Porter this year tells me they have either a lot of faith in Harrison this next year or they might try and draft a Linebacker in the first round, but the outside Linebacker in the 3-4 defense is a pass rushing LB which is more of a defensive end. With that said they might take a defensive end in the first round and convert him to OLB like Demarcus Ware in Dallas. I really do not see much talent in the defensive end position past the 10th selection, as the best pass rushers will be off the board. I see the Steelers trading down their selection to pick up depth at some needed positions. Maybe getting Jarvis Moss with their first pick and then having either two 2nd round or 3rd round picks to add depth. Steelers are a pretty solid team its nice during draft time to not know which direction they are going to go. If Chris Houston is on the board for pick 15 they might just pick him up but who knows we have 4 decent corners already and what they really need is pressure on the quarterback to make the corners job easier because pressure equals turnovers and we weren't getting enough pressure last year.

I agree 100% with Vick the Steelers secondary got seriously killed last year so they should look to get Leon Hall,They should not look for linebackers very early because they switched to a 4-3 defence to a 3-4 defence so they wont need as many linebackers

Linebackers. loosing Joey Porter. Steelers needs to stay healthy and consistant and Big Ben better play well. Last year they had a team to make.
A Wide Receiver because loosing Atwann Randle El hurts them because they didnt have a big speedy deep threat but they arent any urge to get one unless the top LB are gone

they dont need another linebacker, they moved froma 4-3 to a 3-4 that mean 3 linebackers (Larry Foote, Clark Haggans and James Farrior), 4 defensive backs (Troy Polamalu, Ryan Clark, Ike Taylor, and Deshea Townsend, sometimes Ricardo Colclough) so they dont need LBs.i think they need help in the secondary so i think they will draft Leon Hall, but they might go for a DE and go for Jarvis Moss from florida.

If he's available i say they should draft Leon Hall, the Steelers were just getting killed downfield and Ike Taylor was pathetic.

they need to revamp the defense. buy in a linebacker, free safety (he sucks), and a corner (ike is getting burned back there). their qb isn't all that bright either. and later in the next two or three years, cash in for good lineman on both sides.

a DB most likely....or the best player off the board.
they need a better backup for big ben, they could use another RB as well.
