i think it depends on what is in the glass... that could make the difference between the glass being half full and half empty, wouldn't it?
if it is good, then it would be half empty, if it is something that i don't like, it would be half full... :)

If it's water, the glass is half full, if it's lager, the glass is half empty. So I'd say what's in it is what matters.

The contents of the glass first and foremost....it plays a major role if only because it decides how fast or slow it fills /empties.

I never question this...
I get my rye and coke....
And keep the glass full ....till its inside me..
Then I fill the glass so its never half full or empty .....
