Is it me, or does American Idol, season six, just SUCK?!!!
I mean, there really is no competition this year...there are only a few contestants who have voices good enough to be on the show, such as Melinda and LaKisha. In my opinion, this is the absolute worst season of AI ever. What do you think?

It totally blows!! The only two who stand a chance are Melinda and Lakisha. They should just send the rest of these suck-wads home and save us the time and trauma from having to watch this crap.

I agree. It's the worst season ever. It's really just a competition between Malinda and Lakisha and that's it.
I think a few things happened this season:
- The judges chose competators which are very predictable. I mean - remember that singing cart pusher from Denver? She was awesome, and very different. How come she didn't make it thru?
- Viewers have alterior motives when voting. Sanjaya is not in just because of his hair. If you check http://votefortheworst.com/ you will see there is a whole movement of people voting for the WORST singer. People are becoming cynical about AI and protesting in that way.
- The judges and producers realized that having a competition with only 2 good singers doesn't make for good tv. That's why they're raving about singers like Jordin, who isn't bad, but isn't that good either. She forgot her lyrics last night and they said nothing about it. They're trying to make her more appealing than she really is.

This could be the worst season yet. Melinda and Lakisha are really good, but everyone else is less than average! Off night for Blake, he would be somewhere between Melinda/Lakisha and everyone else.

I agree you have Lakisha and Melinda and the rest are either horrible or average...theres not really a competition

This is the first season I'm watching from beginning to end and I'm not impressed so I think I'll go back to watching the auditions then the final 2 for next season.

human beings are judging the season way too early supply it 2 extra weeks, permit some effective criticism get in and then we are going to see what happens. i think of a girl will win this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, yet some adult males stand out like Andrew, Casey, and Lee.

I agree cause none of them stand out like the other seasons like Chris Daughtry and Carrie Underwood did. I like Phil Stacey the best right now.

I just want to know how Sanjaya and Haley made it to top 12 and Sundance and Sabrina didn't? Who the HELL is voting for this stuff now and have they not cleaned their ears out lately????
