I gave up smoking, but i'm SO angry! I dont really have a reason.

Is anyone else angry. If so, you can vent.
If you're angry for no reason, good, so am I

I'm angry at my boyfriend....I can't talk to him because I feel like if I tell him that he is putting too much pressure on me he will just put more pressure on...he always wants to see me every damn night, i have a lot of work to do and I'mn busy and tired, he said I'm self-fish, I'm not self-fish I just gte so tired...and he gets off work late so I don't feel like going over to his place when I'm already at home ready to go to bed...he can come over and see me if he wants but he says all he wants to do after work is go home, so he is putting the effort on my end. It just seems like i am the one who is always making the effort and he doesnt see this...but it's my damn fault because i don't talk to him about it...i've just never been with someone who is so needy...he is always cuddling when were in bed and hates it when i don't want to be all mussy and cuddly and thinks somethings wrong....my god i think ive vented enough for today.....thanks for listening
P.S. I quit smoking two years ago cold turkey and did alright got through it...you will too good for you....lollypops helped big time....but then you get addicted to them ;)

I'd suggest you go within and try to assess the reasons behind your anger. You are denying yourself by saying that you don't have a reason!

If it IS because you've given up smoking, I'd suggest a couple of things - 1. try nicotine patches; 2. go see a hypnotist. I gave up for a year and a half with the help of this technique and it was remarkable; 3. Try getting into either (or both!) Meditation and Yoga. Both are remarkable tools to help overcome anger!

Finally, can I offer the suggestion that within the mindspace that is anger lie the seeds of the opposite, which is clarity of mind. Your angry state is like a murky river in that there is always an ability for the murkiness to clear, which will leave you with an ability to see the depths with clarity. As well, you'll be able to reflect that clarity to all those around you. I'd imagine that you're not very good to be around right now! Please don't fear what I am saying - I am simply sharing.

I say all this with direct personal experience of exactly what you are going through. I have come out the "other side" and feel so much better for it. Others are able to see the change in me as well!

Peace be with you and I hope things work out for you!

Love and Light,

Jarrah

Usually when people give up smoking, there's a whole rush of feelings. Three days after I stopped I was involved in a touch footbal game that turned into a tackle match.

It passes.

One of the reasons people smoke is to medicate themselves against depression. Once they stop, the feelings arise. Have someone around that you can talk to.

LOL! I gave up smoking on Jan 1st this year and it took me 3 weeks just to get to the stage where I didn't want to slap everyone I saw. What made it worse was that it was summer and beer & cigarette season. So I had no alcohol and no cigarettes and took up some moderate exercise and now I'm one very healthy but very irritated person!
Good luck.

When did you quit?
Your brain may be VERY angry jsut b/c you're in withdrawal.
This WILL go away.
Find a replacement, though.
Work on making yourself happy, to help balance out your chemicals.

i'm no longer indignant, yet i'm disgusted. yet I bear in options that Karma will guard her. bear in options OJ replaced into got here across no longer accountable in the murders of Ron & Nicole yet he's at present in reformatory. there is more beneficial to this tale than all of us know, we may not in any respect know. yet i have self assurance one way or the different Casey Anthony will pay.
