I find myself doing this constantly. I think that everyone shows a little bit of ourselves in our questions and answers, even when we take on avatars and online personae, and so I just get curious and wonder who is really there.

I wonder if there are others out there who do this as well.

Yes. Sometimes I go to the asking or answering persons profile to see what questions they have asked or answered before. This sometimes tells me more about a person and whether I want to waste my time on them. Like one guy said not many people responded to his questions. I looked at them and most of them had something to do with farting. Duh! I'm not going to waste my time on someone like that.

Hmmm. Now that I've finished my answer, I'm going to check up on you.

Yes , I do also , I think is normal . It is amazing the kind of questioning and answers some of the people divulge in this forum , but I guess that is the color spectrum of our society , and also the side they are in , far left or far right , many of them for sure need help .

Not on Y!Answers, I need to see facial reactions, and have follow-ups to do psycho ananlysis, now, simply sizing someone up (or down), yea sure. Its fun.
