I don't think the other person understands more by listening to a person talk slower, but I think the foreigner feels more calm. So it has to help. Not yelling but slowing down a bit.

Haha. I remember first coming to Korea (my homeland) without understanding most of what people said in Korean. Only cure was educating myself with a book from Seoul university and studying it profusely.
But, yes, it does, oddly enough. When you enunciate words and do hand motions, a person gets the gist. Couldn't hurt to use a dictionary too.

Anyone understands when they are being yelled at, that's just rude! Slowly speaking doesn't help.

I ought to positioned on 2 listening to aids, yet seem to circulate against the final rule, in as much as maximum folk question me to communicate up! some persons who've or do artwork in a loud ecosystem would tend in the direction of this, as they have have been given used to having to shout between others to communicate. i think of i be attentive to what you advise however, and people who 'want' to shout particularly of communicate, can in lots of cases be known via the tone of their voice - slightly rasp and compelled. those human beings i do unlike listening to.

yelling probably not....slowing down a little may help...yelling at someone who does not understand a language is a little like yelling at a deaf person.(ignorant)
