i am going on a field trip to Museum of modern art in nyc and its going to be about 70 degrees, and i wanted to wear flip flops, skirt that goes to my knees, and a tank top with something over it, would it be too cold for it?

I was just in the City over the weekend, and it was gorgeous! Yes, wear what you described. Just have something light to go over your tank top, like you said. Have fun and enjoy looking HOT!!! *-*

I haven't heard that it was going to be 70 degrees in NY (I live a state away)! I think that you can wear a skirt - it is all about how cold you get personally. Wear some tights underneath to make sure you don't get cold and I wouldn't wear flip flops - wear some shoes instead or even better, some cute boots!

no, it wouldn't be too cold unless the wind it blowing, then it could be a bit chilly, but I still think it will be ok. When are you going, because it's supposed to get a little colder again soon, and rainy. I don't know if I would recommend flip flops either because NY is pretty dirty if you're going to be walking around on the streets a lot.

You might want to bring a slightly warm jacket just incaes the museum is cold
The usually keep museums cold so the art will stay nice

oh that musuem is really cool! keep in mind there might be air conditioning..and don't forget it's new york, so it's windy..make sure you don't wear white shoes or white skirt or else they'd get dirty. flip flops might not the best idea if you're going to be walking around. i definitely recomend flats instead...

no thats a nice temperature for a skirt. you know arms usually get cold before legs so you dont want to wear a tank top, maybe something with three quarter sleeves?

I would skip the flip flops and go for the ballet flat or something like that. If you are talking about going there this week, I would check the weather because they are calling for rain.

undesirable theory, except that's a stunning short one and you're wearing exciting tights or leggings below! many times conversing, skirts + bowling = no longer exciting i've got achieved it previously... have faith me! oh and remember, you would be able to desire to positioned on those hideous bowling footwear.... no longer something seems good with those suckers on... yet denims and bowling footwear might certainly seem greater effective than a skirt and bowling footwear.. Do what you opt for to do, and function exciting!!!

A skirt is just fine, but if you wake up to it being a little too chilly, wear leggings w/ your skirt!!
