The Geico Caveman setting is more considered to become just a commercial . A sitcom is a long-lasting television show for example "Full House". But if the commercial becomes a hit Geico might consider it to be the focus for costumers to consume Geico for there car insurance. Like the 90's coca-cola girl. The Coca-Cola company used her as a target for people to buy there drinks, which made the commercial a success.

I read somewhere that they're making a pilot but that doesn't mean it will get to TV, most pilots don't even make it that far.
