where can I buy an engine for my kawasaki ninja zx1100

Kawasaki used to sell complete engines, but I don't think they have in a long time. Your best bet to find a deal is to check with an insurance adjuster. Ask where the crashed bikes in your area go. There are many auctions around the country for insurance wrecks. Some have hundreds of bikes at a time. You may need a dealer to bid on it for you, but that shouldn't be too hard to get done.

Why is it that you need a complete engine? Unless it ran out of oil or tossed a rod through the case, you may be better off to rebuild it. Price out the parts online at http://www.mrcycles.com and see.
