I wanted to buy an ipod but after not gettin it for soo long i thought about a psp and i could get a 4gb memory card...IF i get it ... i will be buying 3 games and a 4gb memory card plus headphones...I wud be usin it around my house mostly and i dont doo to much gaming as i dont want too keep my mind focused on games...do you think it is worth buying a psp or shud i just wait for maybe a year wen the ps3 goes cheaper...Also please give me your reason why or why not

Dude. Listen to me. Do NOT buy a PSP. Save your money for a decent home console like the 360. Either that or buy a DS Lite.
The PSP is a terrible substitute for an Ipod. It's games aren't selling, so many companies are stopping their support, and it's battery life is terrible.
The controls are horrible, the loading time is unbearable and it scratches like nothing you've seen before.
Unless you really hate yourself, don't buy one.

Hell yes, PSP is like the best handheld multimedia gadget that is out on the market. PSP can play movies,music,pictures and you can play games on it too...Oh, let's not forget about the screen...the screen and resolution is far better than an I-pod video...the speakers are pretty loud so it's cool...
You buy PSP rather than PS3 because...
1. PSP is handheld and compact, PS3 is not...
2. PS3 will not drop it's price that easily, it will take another advanced game console to be out on the market for PS3 to drop it's price
3. More people owns a PSP
4. A disc for PSP is cheaper than PS3 disc...
5. PS3 is useless unless you have an internet connection and Hi-Def TV with a good picture quality.
6. PSP has Wi-Fi connection which means you can connect to the internet wirlessly unlike PS3.
7. PSP works as a controller for PS3 but PS3 contollers will not work on PSP....

Don't listen to the Charbatch guy, he doesn't know what his talking about, the PS3 has more features than any other console made and the PSP has more features than any other handheld. The guy only said it because he hates playstation because he probably can't afford it. XBOX 360 right now has overheating problems and the wii controller problems while the ps3 has none. Buy whichever of the two that you want. In my opinion I would get the ps3 20GB at least.

The PSP is great because it has a lot of multimedia features, such as video, music, and pictures. But you should use it for what it is best at, games.
