If only one eye is cloudy I wouldn't worry about water conditions. The one's you give us are just fine anyway. Look very closely at the fish. is this a film over the eye or does it look like it's inside the eye? Also look around the eye, do you see a film there as well or not?

If no film on the fish, just on the eye, or if it appears to be inside the eys you have a bacterial infection going on. I would suggest you treat with Furanace or Maracyn 2. Treat for at least 10 days, but 2 weeks would be better.

If you see the film on the fishes body I think you are dealing with a protozoa. Treat that with Metronidazole. Again for at least 10 days.

Best of luck!

Your nitrates are fine. You should test your ammonia, use one of the other test tubes if you have to, just rinse it really well.

A cloudy eye is generally a sign of poor water quality. Something may have possibly contaminated your tank. The only thing you can do is to change about half the water every day or 2 until it clears up

Have you treated your tank for any parasites yet? I had an outbreak of ICK in my tank not to long ago. ICK can cause your fish to have cloudy eyes. Treatment is simple- get a regular ICK treatment liquid and follow the directions on the bottle. The treatment is blue and should be repeated daily.

My water levels were fine- and when my fish started to die I took them pack to the pet shop for an exam and found out it was ICK. Most of the time you can tell if it is because there will be little white dots on your fish- but some will only get cloudy eye.

It likely is only an old age replace to the attention referred to as Nuclear Sclerosis. that's rather straightforward in older canines, and would purely make their ingenious and prescient slightly hazey if that. whether that's crimson and annoyed that's relatively helpful to take the canines to the vet so a corneal ulcer (scratch) would properly be ruled out.

Your nitrates are really high. If your fish has a cloudy eye it must be sick. and no wonder, with those high nitrates. You should change your water quick.

do a major water change about 50% today and tomorrow about 30%, and so on, until they go down.
