does anyone know the meaning to the song little house by the fray. i mean i sort of get it but can anyone explain it?

"Little House" was written in 2004 by Isaac Slade (lead singer of The Fray) and Joe King (lead guitarist and backup vocalist of The Fray) about a self-cutter that they knew.

I remember hearing that Little House is about a person that would cut themselves. It also sounds like the person is very depressed.
