Is it the type of food one eats or is it exercise?

I know for sure that one’s genes apply to this.

Lets take 2 brothers born from tall parents.

1 brother drink bunch of milk and stuff.
1 brother doesn't.

I think the milk-drinker will be slightly taller.

Also, let's say one lived in a first-world country.
The other lived in a third-world and he's malnurished his whole life.

I bet you can guess who'd be slightly taller again.

Hope that answers your question about type of foods.
But ya, like everyone else said...it's the genes.

Only genes and God.

Good posture makes a huge difference. Even if you're not tall, if you carry yourself with your shoulders back and head held high, normally high not looking up, you can look taller than most.
Tall guys who hunch over can be invisible.

How tall you will be is determined by genes..If your genetic make up says you will be 6 feet tall thats what you will be if it says you will be 5 feet tall thats what you will be. You can do what ever you want ...Your heigth is allready determined while you are in the womb

Genes does most of it. Weightlifting makes you stand straighter, so you look taller.
