Kind of. A more extreme is that this guy in a small town in Iowa had his fence crushed by a car. Instead of getting it fixed, he put up a sign asking that the guy who crashed into his fence would please give him the money to fix it. He then received an envelope containing 600 dollars and an apology letter. After fixing the fence, he realized that he had only used 400 of the 600 dollars. He has now put up a sign asking the person to come back and claim the rest of the money. No takers so far
