Well, it sure got folks out into the theaters this weekend, didn't it? Oh, Iranians are boycotting it? I hadn't noticed, LOL!
Now, where can I order a "Men of 300" calendar?!? Woo-hoo, best eye candy that I've seen in a long time!! And lets not forget my "I'd Do The 300" t-shirt! ROTFLMAO!

Well, you will soon see many post-products spawn from this movie such as: video games, toys, dvds, posters, etc.
Also, since it did so well, the film company will probably take notice of that and make a sequel. If not that, it definitely sparked a huge career jump for the actors in the film. which means we will probably see more of them.
They also set a standard for what people want to see in the theaters. So now film companies will probably be scrambling looking around for a story to create that could use lots of graphics like 300 did. I'm sure the economy has now been fully desensitized by special effects so that now ALL great films must have some sort of special effects in it.
But, the movie will profit even more overseas.

Overall it hasn't done anything, counting by the fall in the Dow today. For the movie industry, big change and its positive. A movie in March has never grossed 70 mill before! It says the movie industry is getting off to a solid start and movies may be more profitable in the future if graphics can be used instead of real locations and hundreds of extra "extras".
So movie jobs will go down and studio profits will go up.

I don't know how it effected our economy; but I do it was the BEST FREAKIN MOVIE IN THE WORLD!!! Oh yea about the Iranian boycott, sure it was mean how they portrayed them, but the movie was made to show how the Spartans saw them. I mean if someone was trying to enslave me I'd see them as a monster! P.S. i thought the Persians looked AWESOME!!!

dude, r u serious???? it hasn't. people r packin the theathers and buyin anythin that has to do wit 300 but, that would be it. it just a movie!!!!! it wasn't made to support the war and make persians look bad or whatever people r sayin, it WAS made to entertain people, for people enjoyin a movie and thats it.
