got into Washington University in St. Louis, Notre Dame, and U of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana....went to U of I....best education for the money....
That was a few years ago and it is even harder to get in these days than it was back then....

I only applied to one school and got in with a two-year full-tuition merit scholarship. The school was/is Simon's Rock College of Bard, it's a four-year early college so I entered after my tenth grade year of high school.

I had a 35.
I got into: Northwestern, University of Chicago, Michigan, Purdue, Illinois, Arizona, Wisconsin and Michigan State.
I went to Illinois, great school. Best value.
