Where I live, in Canada, the snow just starting to melt. And according to a theory that I believe in in the winter everyone (generally speaking) is doing good with their grades in school and do well in sports, good behaviour, etc. When the snow melts, everyone starts to act differently, their marks go down a little bit, their performance in sports isn't as great as it normally is. And some cases, people misbehave worse than they usually do. This is because of people being excited, because summer is coming, it is getting nicer outside, and the fact that the snow is melting. My question is how do I overcome these
obstacles, so I don't fail anything at school, and so I can do better in sports (ex: bowling), and how do I cope with other people's behaviour's?

It's called Spring Fever and everyone gets it--even teachers! The thing to do is give yourself permission to have some fun outside but do it in *moderation*!! After school, take 15 min. or so and go for a walk, see if any flowers are starting to come up, or whatever you like then get back to work. Divide what you have to do into catagories--sports, homework etc. then do each for an hour or so and take breaks in between. It's a proven fact that going from one task to another without breaks causes burn out (in this case spring fever) so take a break.
As for other people, smile and grin and bear it--summer's coming!!!

Just remind yourself that summer is only a few months away, and try to spend some more time outside on weekends to get rid of the 'urge' to be outside (which is the purpose of everyone getting worse grades and stuff). Trust me, once you get a ton of homework and projects, you'll forget all about summer coming up, and the next few months will go by very quickly. As far as bowling goes, I have that problem too (I was averaging 204 up until mid-March last year, ended with 197). One thing that helps me is to join a summer league. I would also, if you're a competitive bowler, join a Junior Gold or a PBA experience league (which I don't know if they have those in Canada).

give yourself mini breaks. dont wait for summer activities, enjoy them now. do something once a week that you would normally do in the summer, minus the heat. if you deprive yourself the spring time/ summer activities then your mind is going to "wander" and you'll be distracted. that's why here in america, not sure if you guys have it canada we have Spring Break. it gives the students a chance to clear away the cobwebs of winter and to enjoy the beginning of spring. yea the ocean is very chilly right now but the beaches are packed with sunbathers and people just getting out in the fresh air.
good luck,
neighbor to Padre Island!

Well, you can't truly control anyone but yourself. This being the case, if you mean you feel pulled in to participate in other people's activities, just remind yourself to get the work done first, then you can comfortably go play without worry. If you mean they're an irritating distraction, try to find a place, like the library, or any quiet-away place to do what you need to get done. Remember to have some fun; all work and no play leaves Jack a dull boy. That's my two cents for ya.

What you have to do is keep with your riutine you have now. If you start changing things, then your grades are bound to go down. If you want to pass, and keep your grades up, try your best and don't give up. Best of luck, peace.

I have a radical suggestion.
Accept everything you want to change, let it be as it is, starting with you.

Hard? yes, but this is a great secret. Your life will improve if you do this, all by itself.
