Research Paper Ideas...?

Question

I'm in middle school and I have to do a research paper on Egypt, Greece, Rome, India,or China. I'm interested in Rome and Greece.
Does anyone have a decent idea for a paper?

P.S. I know I already asked this question. I just really need an answer.

It has to be Ancient Greece, Rome, ect

How big of a paper does this need to be, and how specific does the subject need to be? Here are a few thoughts that might give you some ideas...

You could write about the position of women and children in Roman (or Greek) society.

The influence of various gods and goddesses.

The Romans were known for their building - you could research roads they built and how they were built and why.

Life in the Roman army, or in a Roman outpost.

The relationship between different Greek city-states, like Athens, Sparta and Corinth.

Architecture and houses in Greece/Rome

Everyday life in Greece or Rome.

Clothing and fashion in the ancient world (you could look at what kind of cloth there was, what kinds of dyes were used, jewelry and makeup).

You might consider doing a paper on the affect of aquaducts on the roman empire and why they were critical. If you are not sure what an aquaduct is look it up and go from there
