Do NOT go to the County Clerk, the hospital, or the court house. None of them have the record you want. You can use the Department of Health link Krazy gave you, but that takes the longest.
The fastest way would be through the office of the County Recorder for the County of birth. You can find that by googling the County name and the word "recorder." Almost all recorders allow you to order such documents online for a moderate fee.

Go to this web site.
http://www.dhs.ca.gov/hisp/chs/OVR/BirthOrderCert.htm
There you will find the methods outlined.
You have to apply, and present sworn statements by certain people who know you, then pay the fee.
