I have a plastic cave and i want to put in a fish only salt tank

ok what if say i have it in my fresh water tank and wanted to but in my salt tank cause that is what i want to do :)

yes, but they have special decorations for saltwater that hold up better in the salt, but plastic is just fine, better if its resin though, as plastic will decompose faster

You surely can. Although its never really specified when you buy the ornaments it is safe. Just make sure that you only put things that are designated to belong in tanks because if you put things like children's toys the paint can flake off and poison the water and possibly kill the fish.

Well it depends.
What kind of fish are there.
Some might eat it I think.
Sometimes it's bad to have fish in Salt water.
Tell what fish. Be more spasific.

yes, just make sure you wash them off good, DO NOT USE CHEMICALS WHEN CLEANING THE FAKE PLANTS!
