My husband and I have an online/offline retail business that might work for you. I can't give you details here since it's against the rules of this site but send me an email if you'd like more information.

Well. Not much info here to go on. There are all types of businesses that can lead to $3000 income (I'm assuming you mean per month). But, different businesses thrive better in different areas. You need to do some research for your area and come up with some ideas that are in your realm of interests. And don't set limits on your potential income. Personally, if I only wanted $3000, I wouldn't become my own boss. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

The No.1 attribute identified by the SBA for "Successful Business Owners" (+20yrs ) is that they are successful due to they have a pssion for what they are doing which makes them happy and more driven toward business growth. In the past 50 yrs their have been thousands of "Think Tanks Organizations and Groups" brainstorming "IDEAS" that they think will make them "Successful in the "Business World". But historical statistics and records has documented the opposite.

As a "Business Owner you have to ask and identify "What you are Good At, What do I Like to Do and What Business would I like to Own"

No one elses idea or business will work because its "Someone Elses Passion". Business Owners are Leaders and Gladiators and very rarely utilize someone elses
Theories, Approaches and/or Ideas.

I recommend a book that was published in the 1970's by Nepolean Hill tiitled
"Diamonds In Your Own Backyard". This will explain the guidelines and will assist you in establishing your "Focus on Myth,,,, Idea or Business Success".

I also recommend that you aquire and start a documented "Business Plan".
(That Question is included in your Plan)

Thank you,

What works for me might not work for you. What works in my area might not works in yours. I would suggest you go out and ask what people need in your area and fill that need...but make sure you understand the type of business you're getting in. Remember that most ventures fail withing the first yr. and expecting $3,000. profit per month right away is iffy at beast. Start small, little to zero over-head and expand from there. My thing is farming...so that's what I will invest into...but maybe you live in the city and farming is not your thing.....for that reason I cannot give you my ideas.....
