We hav 2 pet gold fish at work,my friend feeds them 3 times a day but they eat it all instantly.
Also every time u walk anywhere near the tank they go crazy,they almost dance in the water and they foolow u no matter where u go butthey do it together, ALL THE TIME.

You should feed your goldfish once every other day I have medium size goldfish and I feed them 3 pinchs everyother day and one of them is 6 and the other is 2 so i think you should do that

About once a day unless it is a large fish, i have 3 gold fish and i feed them onve in the morning and just a sprinkle at night incase one didnt eat, the food is always gone 15 min later.
You can feed it more if it seems to be eating all the food, but if the water is cloudy or food seems to stay on the top for more then an hour, your over feeding your fish!

Goldfish do love to eat, but don't feed them any more than three times each day. You will overfeed them if you are not careful. Just because they eat fast doesn't mean you need to feed them more food. I used to have three fancy goldfish like that. They wanted food as soon as they saw me. I could feed them and come back 40 minutes later, and they were ready for suppertime again. Goldfish are just like that. That's the reason they grow so fast. Goldfish will actually consume more food than their stomachs can hold. Their stomachs will explode if you feed them too much.

2-3 times a day. I got this information off several fish food containers. I normally feed them two times a day. Give them two pinches at a time. It should take them five minutes to eat it.

Goldfish just have that hungry look about them! Just feed them once or twice a day - once really is enough. I feed mine once a day - shrimp pellets - and then whole sun-dried baby shrimp once a week to help with digestion (prevents constipation). Goldfish can get very tame and love to watch people walk around - don't get fooled into thinking you need to feed them just because they are looking at you. Just sit back and enjoy watching them swim around.

I thought twice a day. I dont keep them for pets though. I buy them to feed my larger clown knife fish
