What is the best way to study for the global history regent?

i know everyone is diff. but it would be helpful to get some ideas. if you can tell me what you did and then told me what you got on it (if u dont mind) i'd really appreciate it thanks

Reading and Spitting out facts is tiring and boring.
When I read history, I picture myself there as one of the characters in the story. They were human beings, this was their lives you are reading about, imagine yourself there, put yourself in their situation and feel what they felt and you will never forget that history because its the next best thing to actually experiencing it first hand.
