You cant as poverty is created by politicians/dictators

This is an easy question, Allow people only to have 2million in the bank. And the rest to go to countries the UK plundered, and that would go a long way to stop poverty.

It depends on who you are including in the "We" part of your question.I,personally can't do a lot as I am on a low income myself.The people who can make a difference are the ones on a high income,sadly they choose not to.Which is why there is poverty in this world in the first place.

Absolutely nothing. Look at how many billions of dollars were flushed away in Africa for decades, only to see it get worse every year. That money could have been put to better use, like feeding our homeless war veterans.

Cancel the debt to poor countries,stop spending money on the stupid war on terror and spend that cash on hospitals,schools and the poor.

There is no way to "stop poverty" just like there is no way to eliminate crime or disease.

we can only help people who have to live in it by offering what we can to help improve things, its a huge problem as its cause is bought about by many different causes, eg famine or drought, or drugs or poor education...
so in answer to your question what can we do to stop it? nothing cos there will always be fat cats

Someone (Not me) suggested that canniblism was the perfect solution for Africa. No more food shortages and a smaller population!
