i'm taking up Paul Ricoeur this semester and i'm really having a hard time. i get his thought in the narrative identity but i don't understand him when it comes to his ethics and morality. our main text is "oneself as another" and we're focusing in his sixth and seventh chapter which are "the self the ethical aim" and "the self and the moral norm" respectively. can anyone give me a brief explanation of this? i'll be having my orals next week and i really need help. thanks!

Well, um, maybe a reference guide could help you. I mean I'm sure somebody probably has given their thoughts on his Philosophy. Maybe that will help give a better understanding?

go to Sparknotes.com and look up the title "oneself as another" and read the critique.
