All I can say is *#@#@%$%#@$#@%@%#$@#$
If you had a friend betray you; then you know what I'm talking about.
It's just so angering that words can't begin to describe your feelings towards that person and what they did.
Imagine the people you trust the most with your deepest secrets; your feelings; your thoughts.. Yeah imagine those people betraying you. It hurts like hell and never heals.
Which is why I no longer make face to face friends.
I'v always been a great friend. I give great advice. I do everything I can to help a friend through any situation.
Seems like it wasn't worth it now that I look back.
Friends are #@$()$%#$%
I'v been friend-sober for over 3 years now. I plan to keep it that way.
I make acquantinces; people I hang out with. But I dont put my trust in friends.
I put my trust in my journal. The only friend I can be certain will never betray me.

Oh yeah, and it hurt sooooo bad that the pain is still with me today. My freshman year in college I went to visit my best friend who was at another school in the same state. She was supposed to let me stay in her room in the dorm instead she took me to a friends place. I had never drank before in my life, She left me alone there, I had way too much to drink and at least five guys raped me. One of them being her boyfriend. Now you would think that would have been enough bad stuff to happen right?? Well, she compounded the problem by sending my mother a letter and telling her that I came up there got drunk and screwed her boyfriend!! I did not learn about the letter to my mother until later. I was unable to contact this "friend" -- well, thank you internet because last year I found her via Classmates - I sent her an e-mail and told her just how crappy it was of her to dump me in a frat house, leave me there when she knew I had never even tasted booze before and to allow all those guys to rape me and then blame me for the entire thing and rat me out to my mother. She never answered me she just deleted herself from Classmates-lol. I felt better after telling her off. Does it seem to you that I remember this well? It did not happen recently - it happened in l967-l968 school year!!! We're talking almost 40 years ago. Think about it before you hurt your friends I don't think it is possible to forget that kind of pain. -k-

I had a bestfriend of 13 years and we used to hang out all the time. she didnt have much credit yet, also because she was only 18, so i opened up a new line of service under my cell phone for her. she did very well through the year with paying it on time, then she started making less money because her work was cutting back hours. i understood this was hard so i helped pay her bill for a few months but then after she got her hours back again, she started just slacking off...i.e partying, staying out till 6 am, not going to work because she was too hung over so at that point, she wasnt making very much. after 4 months, i got to the point that i felt like i was being taken advantage of so i refused to pay her bill and told her that this was supposed to be her responsibility. she got pissed and told me that if i refused to pay her portion of the bill, then we shouldnt be friends.
well, i said, "OK!" and havent talked to her since then. this has been 3 years now

Yup...she acted as though she genuinely cared when I poured my heart out to her and then turned around only to use everything I said to make herself look good to other people. This was going on for a while...and when I finally did find out why people thought such aweful things about me..I stopped calling or communicating with her in all ways...

yeah 8th grade me and this girl were best friends then out of the blue she told me and every one else that my family was from hell that we were all demons. then after school that day before my mom got home her mom came screaming and raving and pounding on my door. . . it ended up that she made up some rumor about me and the whole school stopped talking to me (this is not an exageration) that is when i learned to enjoy reading

yes! my 'best friend' got mad at me cuz i wasn't hanging out with her, and that i 'left her' the whole year (i had surgery and was gone almost the whole school year)! she didn't tell me, she just avoided me all the time. finally, she told me that she was mad at me for not hanging w/ her and for ditching her!! then she started spreading nasty rumors about me, and the only peeps i could hang with were gothics!! not fun!
