Depending on your level of independence in high school, you might have a hard time in college to start with. Not with the academics (though they'll probably be a little challenging) but with your independence. No one's making you go to class, no one's making you do your homework. You have to decide to do it all by yourself

Since everyone else has answer the question based on academic.
I think another part makes hard is the new environment. It is very important to get use to your environment, making new friends, and the most important part is not afraid trying new thing, college years are time to be independent and shine. Don't be shy. And the academic part?! You have heard it all from other people already.

It depends upon the school you will be attending. A junior college may be less demanding than a higher ranked university. Either way make use of the academic resources your school offers i.e. writing centers, academic coaches, etc.

Depends how well you make the adjustment, what classes you take, your self-discipline, how prepared you are.
