Any working power plants? What about water or sewage?

Yes. BUT! Power plants depend on workers in the plant, yes even hydro ones. Water and sewage plants use electric pumps and equipment. No power no nothing. gas lines would work for a little while, but not 6 months.

Some wind powered electric would work tho. But those dont power enough. but that wasn't the question.

But in all honesty, if everyone was dead, would it really matter?

I am sure that both the 1978 version & the 1990 version of "The Stand" have at least half a chapter on the generators, batteries, et cetera that would still be working after the plague which wiped 99.4% of everybody in a parallel universe.

Probably not, there are reasons those utilites have workers to service them. If the entire force of utilites workers went on strike for even a week, would anything work?

Anything powered by solar energy, or water power, would still be working, as these are both renewable energy sources.
