If we pulled out of Iraq? if that is your question then chaos would reign and a lot of people would die. Terrorist would have a country to train in and to gather strength in and possibly even become a clearer target in.
I do want to say that the Iraq war is over for us - has been for a long time now. What is happening in Iraq now is civil war and we are right in the midddle of it.

If we pulled out of Iraq, there would be, as there is now, a civil war between the shiite's and the sunni's. the central government would crumble and i wouldn't be surprised if Iran or some other rogue state invaded to get there hands on the oil in the north. as for the reputation of the United States i think its taken an already terrible blow and leaving really wouldn't hurt.
We were never petitioned by the Iraqis to come to their aid.
and to try to instill western democracy in a religious state is an absurd idea. there is no moderance in arabic culture. to sum it up turn the whole place into a glass parking lot

Iran would swarm in like locust ! The Gulf states, along with Israel would bomb the crap out of Iran. Syria would jump in on the side of Iran. the US would re-enter the fray with great resolve, first by locking up all the liberals in Congress, especially Pelosi and Murtha, and putting them in a loony bin, and secondly by dropping a few well placed bombs on Irans nuclear complex.

Iran and Syria well surrender unconditionally. Al Assad of Syria and Ahmadinejad of Iran will be tried, convicted, and hanged . And that's all I've got to say about that !

The Sunni insurgents and terrorists would escalate attacks on Shiite civilians, causing the Shiite's Mehdi Army to hunt down and slaughter them. The Shiites would dominate the democratic Iraqi govt. as they do now, because they're the majority.

Iraq would ally with Iran, causing concern among all other mideast countries, because they're all Sunnis. Those concerns would prove baseless over time, as Shiite muslims are not as extreme as radical Sunnis, like Al Qaeda.

I think that the war is a no win situation. So many innocent people have died. I
think that if or when they pull out, it will go back to the way it was. That's just my
opinion.

They'd leave the Iraqis totally unprepared to manage the security of their own country...a crazy regime like the Taliban would probably take over and terrorists would get a legitimate foot hold in the country...it would become the new Afghanistan.

...Iraq would fall into uncivilized choas... in a few weeks, Iran would over-run it with it's Islamic Dictatorship and "they" would take the next step in consuming the Arab world in it's desires to become the force to push Isreal into the sea... and Oil would go to $10.00 a quart.
