I saw a movie, "Deep Impact" and I have a few questions.

1. Are comets as bright as stars?
2. Do comets display a rapid-fire series of events? If so, is it in a short period of time?
3. How fast do comets move?
4. Could any spacecraft catch up with a comet?
5. What is an orion engine?
6. What color are comets?
7. Can comets vent? (does it happen when the sun rises over a certain spot?)
8. Do comets glide silently?
