Why are college students so hateful sometimes. Columbia received 4 Billion $$ in U.S. aid from 2003 on and they violently wanted to attack President Bush and where throwing huge rocks at the police and trying so hard to kill our President? Are they that ungrateful? We need to stop enabling countries like this and take care of our own citizens.

Every president has to put up with it. The more we pay the more they hate us. I still can't for the life of me figure out why we just don't keep our money here, leave them alone and let them, starve and or kill each other off. The world would be a better place if we did and not near so crowded.

Being a "college student" does not make them "all knowing".
Most are acting upon the political views of their Professors and clubs that they have joined, without getting the whole picture or looking at the other side of the debate , in other words "they are sheep, easily led, easily controlled".
Yes we do need to start limiting our aid to questionable learning institutes.

Because Columbia is the liberal capital of the universe. Its a bunch of close-minded lefties, thats parents are rich republicans and want to rebel. Its funny really, I mean for such an expensive education, you would figure those kids would actually be smart. You gotta love the liberals sometimes though, they contradict themselves so much its funny.

i doubt the 4 billion you mentioned went to the PEOPLE of columbia maybe they are mad for the same reasons as a lot of americans are right now

Columbia is liberal. That is the same as socialist, or communist- where the elite run the government, and the governed are forced to accept their decisions without recourse.

i doubt they were trying to actually kill the president...but as to why they did it: they just don't like him. they feel (whether its true or not...depends on who you ask) that the U.S. screws over a lot of countries and they probably think they're one of them.
