You never will please her. Do your best and keep good records of all your transactions. Especially e-mails. CC and BCC when you can to CYA (cover your a**).

Keep a file on yourself, you accomplishments etc. so that when it comes time for a review you're armed with good back-up.

Look for a new job but remember the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Nell, get a new job! Especially if you are located in Canada or BC Canada right now because many employers are practically getting down on their knees and begging for employees! I was watching the news the other night, and, because the shortage of employees is so bad right now, we are actually having to outsource to other countries for employees to fill all kinds of positions! I wish the market was this way when I graduated from university- it was the exact opposite and it was extremley difficult to find anything without having a degree plus experience to compliment it as a minimum hiring criteria. So do not put up with something you are being put down for when there are all kinds of other oportunities out there to move on to new fields and jobs! Just be thankful that you have not gone through some of the garbage I have had to deal with- invasion of privacy through computer hacking, negligence involving balcony repairs with the New Home Warranty Program that went bankrupt roughly 10 to 15 years ago, plus a huge pile of other BS! It's a wonderful job market out there right now so don't take any c#$?p that you do not have to!

Yes, it's time.
Or, you can stand up to her and point out to her your good qualities, what you bring to the position, and that you are doing your best. Ask her not to nit pick , but set aside some time for goal setting. Good luck.
My husband has been dealing with this - and that's what he did. He finally reached the end of this rope, and got a different job!

honestly she has a superior that she has to report to right? Most employees can report their immediate superiors anonymously to their HR department, this would be termed as Harassment in most cases.

Maybe. I mean you could always write her a letter or just plain give her a piece of your mind.
