An electrical problem developing in a fairly new bike like that during storage just isn't likely.

But if you didn't drain the gas from the carbs the chance of a plugged pilot jet in one carb is high. The pilot is very small and will plug with varnish really easy. I would say its the most likely problem with your bike.

Sounds like a clogged jet in one of the carbs.you can buy a clymers full service-repair manual on E-bay for $20.My dealer wanted $60.plugs were likely carbon fouled.Fresh plugs ,fresh oil, Good high octane gas will help your bike tremendously. If you decide to take it in,If possible go ahead and remove your tank. That will save on the labor costs.Good luck.
