They are both science fiction, set in a dystopian society, but the plots are different.

yes because they are about a different world in which there is limited freedom and they deal with issues involving the social hierarchy as well as the idea that you are born into what you do and cannot change your destiny. They also look at the whole thing through the eyes of people who are rebels and want to subvert the status quo
