Agree. By 2038, the USA will be a Muslim country. (not by force, by elections) This will allow for Armageddon to happen, as the US will no longer be holding back the rest of the world from attacking Israel. Jesus will rapture His followers shortly before, so my grand kids won't be here (nor will I or any other believers) by around 2038.

Disgree. The only way to pay off debt is for US citizens to pay in more taxes than the government is spending. That is, the US needs to start running budget surpluses to work off the debt.
However, the debt -- the total accumulation of past deficits -- is too large to solve in our lifetime. Even if we ran budget surpluses, it would take a couple of generations to pay off the debt.
I don't see any evidence that Congress or Bush will raise taxes or cut spending to lower the deficit, let alone run a surplus. Bush has said his policies will half the deficit by 2013. But the CBO says this is wildly optimistic.
