I rarely eat out, when bought fast food lately, I noticed that the employees seemed fatter than a few years ago. What's going on?

I worked in fast food to put my self through school. They have you hustling. I never had time to eat. After awhile I got so I hated it so I would bring a simple salad or an apple. My co-workers were the same

It depends on the person. Sometimes you can't help getting the product when you are constantly around it, especially when employee discount is involved. Also some fast food workers take home food that is prepared but not sold at the end of the night. However very rarely do fast food workers sneak food, there's just no need for that when you can be fired for it.

I Think That Food Is Their Interest! I Think The Employees Work There For More Than Money . I Do Not Think Fast Food Pays Rent,Food,Phone Bills ,But Maybe Some Fast Foods Do Pay The Bills!

WOW, have you noticed that America as a whole has become heavier over the past 10 years? To say that ppl. working in a fast food place are fat because of where they work is just plain ignorance. There are not too many places you can go anymore where the employees aren't overweight. Look around you... open your eyes.

I agree with most of the answers. Kitykat lover is right America as a whole has become heavier over the past ten years. If you watch a TV show or music video from the 80's you can see how skinny America used to be.

I don't think so. They usually don't have to sneak the food.. it's one of the perks of working at a fast food place. However, most tire of the food from their workplace rather quickly.
I think people in general are getting bigger.

Maybe you should go out more. I dine out frequently and I see a wide range of body types. You shouldn't judge a group of people based on the observations of a small sampling.

fast food is all the can really afford on a minium wage pay for meals, so i'm sure that's their breakfast, lunch, and dinner majority of the time.

i am a manager of arbys and my crew only eat on breaks. if i catch them eating any other time than they get written up
