How do I turn of the opening sounds on my Razr v3?

I just purchased a new Razr from Verizon and I'd like to turn off the opening sounds that play when you turn the phone on and off. How do I do this? There is nothing in the manual about it that I saw...

If I turn my phone on silent before turning it off, it doesn't play the sounds. However, I don't have a Razr. Best of luck.

turn it on vibrate or silent before you turn it off then after it loades turn the sound back on
